In Being Super, you're 21 years old and live with your roommate and his mom. Your father died before you were born, and you learn that he was an alien super-villain who tried to conquer the world. You discover that you have the same superpowers as your dad did. Now you're on a mission to either pick up where your dad left off or use your superpowers to do good. The choice is yours, but remember, whatever you choose, the people on the planet will have to live through it.

Sensitivity warning for this game:
Frequent and violent shaking/flashing images.
It really should have a huge warning at the start of the game. It's probably dangerous for people with epilepsy.
Beyond that, all the screen shaking is infuriatingly obnoxious. Seriously, a suggestion for any devs who happen to read this; don't do the screen-shaking nonsense. It adds nothing to the game or the experience. It's immersion breaking and severely annoying.

The hillbilly/redneck stuff is over the top (mullets and beer hat). The mangled "phonetic" spelling of the hillbilly/redneck characters is hard to decipher.

  Of course that is over the top but i think the Dev has done this intentionally. Everyone knows a Hillbilly loves his Camaro V8 more than a Carriage with pigs! The older one of you may know Monthy Pythons "Life of Brian" and Monthy Python and the Holy Grail" (very funny old british movies the last one was "A Fish called Wanda). With exaggerating cliches to the extreme the Dev wanted to be funny without beeing taken to seriously. Everyone knows that even Multimilliondollar Hollywood never managed to make a movie like Monthy Python so a single Game Dev has a hard job doing that. Whatever all the games on this side are unrealistic, so why dont give this fresh Dev a Chance because i seen dozens much worse games? For the first 3 h in this game i had a lot of fun so i give 5 stars and wait for future updates to have more fun even when i knew he is not a genius like the Monthy Python Team.

    The only thing i have to say, there are to much choices, thats gets very anoying in the long run. Choices only to grind Points are disgusting. Its a game better than mediocre but less choices would be better!

The story itself is not all that intriguing..in fact slow moving, almost to the point of tiresome. What is really bad is the constant shaking of the screen. It has no place in the story, makes focusing on certain parts of the story very difficult. Also, I do not have any neurological disorders but there should be a way to disable it - because there are those that do and could cause issues. Plus it is TRULY ANNOYING

Offers choices like choosing answers to become that annoying stuck up cunt annas trainer i intentionally picked wrong so not to be her trainer only for it to force me to go back and choose correct answers so what is the point of it why not just have it as a simple story instead of false choice

This game has so much potential that I sincerely hope is realized. I'm not counting on it, but one can hope.

Choices sometimes have solely bizzare options. I also fail to see how most of the "flirty" comments would work on anyone other than a drunk college freshman at a Halloween party. Additionally, many choices have no real efffect or very temporary. One moment, a character might be outraged and "how can you say that?!" and the next they smile at you and blush.

Aside from some such quirks, it's developing into a good game and is worth playing.
